Shares of Sonata Software declined by as much as 5% on Friday, November 14, in response to the company’s September-quarter earnings announcement.
For Q2, the company reported net profit growth of 10% at ₹120 crore, compared to ₹109 crore in the previous quarter (QoQ).
Revenue fell 28.5% at ₹2,119.3 crore as against ₹2,965 crore in the last quarter.
EBIT rose 9.2% at ₹146.3 crore, against ₹134 crore (QoQ), while EBIT Margin improved to 6.9%, from 4.5% in the previous quarter.
Sonata Software also declared a second interim dividend of ₹1.25 per equity share (125% on a face value of Re 1) for the financial year 2025-26.
The record date for this interim dividend is November 21, 2025, and the dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders by December 3.
