A month has passed since a 19-year-old Rutgers University student was critically injured in a fraternity house . There’s still no word on the extent of his injuries, but the prosecutor’s office confirmed Friday that he is still receiving treatment at a local hospital.

The Matawan man, who was electrically shocked, was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital the night of Oct. 14.

The student was first in critical condition when he was admitted to the hospital but his condition improved roughly a week and a half later around Oct. 23.

A spokesperson at the New Brunswick hospital declined to comment Friday on the student’s condition due to privacy concerns.
