Jammu, Nov 14: Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, today chaired a meeting to review the implementation, reach, and impact of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in Jammu and Kashmir, calling upon all banks and financial institutions to ensure complete saturation of the scheme for eligible Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holders ahead of the upcoming Rabi season.

Emphasising the need to utilize the window available till 31st December, the Chief Secretary directed banks to register as many farmers as possible under PMFBY for the Rabi 2025 season. He underscored that the scheme serves as a vital safeguard for farmers against crop loss arising from adverse weather conditions and natural calamities.
