WACO, Texas (KBTX) -The Brazos Christian Eagle Volleyball team dropped a 5 set decision to the Guardians of John Paul II Catholic High School Friday evening at Trojan Gym on the campus of University High School.

After dropping the first two sets, 25-19 & 25-15, Brazos Christian won the next two sets, 25-22 & 25-20 to send the TAPPS State Semifinal match to a decisive 5th set.

With the scored tied at 15 in the final set, John Paul II won the next two points including a kill down the line by Allie Wood to claim the match with a score of 17-15. The 3 sets to 2 victory sends the Guardians to the TAPPS State Championship match on Saturday.
