At one point, UAlbany led Rhode Island by nine points about seven minutes into their non-conference men's basketball game Friday, but the host Rams had everything their way after that.
Rhode Island (3-1 overall) overcame that deficit to lead by eight at half and shot 50% from the field in the second half to pull away further for an 80-61 win.
