MART, Texas (KWTX) — A Waco man has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography and online solicitation of a minor following an investigation that began with a cyber tip from a social media company.

The investigation began Nov. 5 when the Mart Police Department, as an affiliated agency for the Texas Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, received the cyber tip.

Authorities say the social media company had flagged the inappropriate conversation and indicated the suspect was believed to reside in McLennan County.

During the investigation, police identified a child victim and discovered the suspect, Joshua Antonio Grijalva, 28, had arranged to meet the child for sex in the McLennan County area, according to the department.
