Terry Sanford football met up with Scotland for the fourth time in two seasons on Friday, Nov. 14, in Round 2 of the NCHSAA 6A East playoffs, and was still unable to overcome the yearly struggle in a 49-40 loss.
The Bulldogs (8-4) jumped in front of the Fighting Scots (8-3) by recovering a fumble on a bobbled snap on their first defensive possession, taking over at the 10-yard line. After two plays, Bulldogs senior quarterback Jacob Moore found senior wide receiver Gaven Kraut with a touchdown pass from 3 yards out to strike first.
