Calgary police are investigating after a pedestrian reported finding what appeared to be human remains at Nose Hill Park in the city's northwest.
Police said officers responded to the report Friday morning, shortly before 11 a.m.
Members of the public are being asked by police to avoid the Nose Hill Park area over the weekend as the investigation continues.
Police said more information will be made available once the medical examiner has completed the autopsy and pending confirmation that the death is deemed suspicious.
