RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office reports a 15-year-old has been charged in connection with an early morning shooting at a party in November.
Deputies said they responded to Beams Mill Road in Ellenboro and learned two people had been shot. One was taken by EMS while the other was transported in a personal vehicle.

Numerous partygoers had already fled the scene when deputies arrived and it has taken two weeks to identify and locate the people who were present that night, officials said.
Deputies report charging a 15-year-old from another county with attempted murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. They are being held in secure custody.
