PIKE ROAD — When the conversation comes to Alabama high school football in the Montgomery-area in 2025, and which team has consistently been the best, Pike Road easily comes up.
The season for the Patriots has featured a bit of everything: Close losses to tough Class 7A opponents, dominance of Region 2-6A and a thrilling first-round AHSAA football playoff win. Pike Road's recent challenge stared from the opposite sideline Friday, Nov. 14 in the form of Bessemer City in the second-round of the AHSAA football playoffs.
This time, the Patriots would have to do it without arguably their most impactful players in seniors Braylon Outlaw and Jordan Holmes after the two suffered season-ending injuries in Pike Road's round-one win over McGill-Toolen.
