DEAR EDITOR:

There is so much chaos in this world. Wars and rumors of wars, people are starving and dying. The Republicans are against the Democrats and vice versa.

Prejudice is on the rise. The rich are getting richer and the poor are left struggling. Homelessness is on the rise .. Hunger is prevalent all over the world, even in some parts of the United States There are more people out holding signs that say “that they would work for food.”

So much discord and calamity. So much heartache.

So what should we be thankful for?

We should be glad that we woke up this morning and that our bed was not our cooling board. We should not ever look down on the less fortunate because that could be you. We may not have the finest of things or live in a big fancy house, but think of the homeless who
