EUGENE Ore. (KPTV) - The No. 8 Oregon Ducks turned in an all-around effort to defeat the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a rare Friday night clash at Autzen Stadium.

Hosting the Gophers (6-4) for the first time in program history, Oregon entered the game with two of their top recievers sidelined due to injury.

With an early emphasis on the ground game, the Ducks exploded out of the gate with touchdown runs from freshman Jordon Davison on their first two drives - punctated by a 39-yard scamper to make it 14-0 midway through the first quarter.
