Gloucester Rugby beat Bath Rugby 19-17 at Kingsholm in Round Four of pool stage action in the Prem Rugby Cup on Friday to end a run of West Country derby defeats.

Tries from Josh Hathaway, Kealan Freeman-Price and Will Knight steered the home side to victory with Bath scoring three tries to match from Austin Emens, Ethan Staddon, and Tyler Offiah. In the end the kicking of Cherry and Whites fly-half George Barton proved crucial with his two conversions edging the tie.
