For the second-consecutive week, Indiana is No. 2 in the College Football Playoff selection committee ranking, putting it on a path to the kinds of goals that would have been unthinkable for the program as recently as two years ago.

Coach Curt Cignetti's team will host Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana in a Week 12 matchup that pits arguably the Big Ten's best team against one of its worst.

No. 2 ranked Indiana heads into the game on the heels of its biggest scare of the season, a 27-24 road win against an unranked Penn State team in which a dazzling Omar Cooper Jr. touchdown with 36 seconds remaining allowed the Hoosiers to escape Happy Valley with a victory. It was the rare close game this season for Indiana, which had won its previous eight games by an average of 38.5 points.

This weekend, they'll take on a Wisconsin team that's enduring one of the worst seasons in the modern history of the proud program. In their third season under coach Luke Fickell, the Badgers are 3-6, including a 1-5 mark in Big Ten play. Last week, however, they snapped a six-game losing streak with a 13-10 win against a Washington team that was No. 23 in the playoff selection committee rankings.
