CLARKSTON – Detroit Catholic Central responded from an opening score by Clarkston and dominated from there, scoring all its points unanswered to beat the Wolves 42-13 for a regional championship Friday night.

The Wolves’ drive that kicked things off from their own 38-yard line did anything but foreshadow the game’s remainder.

Back-to-back runs by Lukas Boman for a combined 25 yards and a fourth-and-1 conversion by his brother and fellow senior Griffin Boman kept the chains moving into the visitors’ territory. Clarkston finished off the drive as Alex Waszczenko completed a 25-yard pass to Cam Love that set up a 2-yard TD run by Luka Boman just over five minutes into the game.
