Jaipur, Nov 15: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said that the organisation was never created to destroy anyone, but to organise and unify Indian society. He was addressing leading entrepreneurs of Rajasthan at the Constitution Club, Jaipur, during the ‘100 Years of Sangh Yatra Series’ marking RSS’s centenary year.
Bhagwat said India’s identity is rooted in its culture and the word ‘Hindu’ unifies everyone. “Our nation is united by culture, not by state boundaries. Even when India had many states or was under foreign rule, we remained one country,” he said, stressing that societal unity — samaj ka sangathan — defines a healthy nation.
