Hearings Begin Dec. 3 for the Five Individuals Who Pleaded Guilty to Charges Related to the Actor’s Fatal Overdose
Federal judges have set sentencing dates for five defendants who admitted to their roles in supplying the drugs that led to actor Matthew Perry’s fatal overdose, concluding a months-long investigation into how the “Friends” star obtained the ketamine that killed him, as reported by ABC 7 Eyewitness News.
The first defendant scheduled to appear in court is Dr. Salvador Plasencia, whose hearing is set for Dec. 3. Plasencia pleaded guilty in July and was a central figure in the federal probe, along with the woman authorities say supplied the lethal dose.
Jasveen Sangha, who admitted guilt in September and became the final defendant to plead, will be sentenced on Dec. 10. Sangh
