In a significant move just days after the Bihar assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suspended former Union Minister R.K. Singh , citing continued cross-party remarks and alleged anti-party activities. The party has also taken similar action against senior leader Ashok Agarwal , giving both leaders one week to clarify their positions and submit formal replies.

According to the suspension notice, the disciplinary step became unavoidable due to the leaders’ persistent public statements that contradicted the party line. BJP sources told Hindustan Times that multiple complaints had surfaced against Singh, particularly during the recent Bihar polls, accusing him of making allegations against his own party colleagues.
