Kashus Clarvoe had a big night in the freshman’s first high school postseason game, which included a 51-yard touchdown run, and the No. 6 Eagles blew past No. 11 Vista Ridge 49-3 to advance to the 4A quarterfinals.

Broomfield will travel to No. 3 Palmer Ridge next week. The Bears beat No. 14 Mesa Ridge 19-16 in the second round.

Just about 3 1/2 miles north of the Eagles, No. 5 Holy Family rallied to beat No. 12 Thompson Valley, 28-21 in overtime, in 3A’s opening round.
