New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the devastating blast at Nowgam police station in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, which killed nine people and injured 24 others on Friday night.

Taking to social media platform X, Kharge extended heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and called for swift medical aid and adequate compensation for those affected.

“It is extremely disconcerting and sad to know that 9 precious lives have been lost and 24 people have been injured,” Kharge said. “The injured must be treated with prompt medical supervision and adequate compensation must be provided to the victims.”
