The joint-most successful side in the history of the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings, bid an emotional goodbye to outgoing all-round stalwart Ravindra Jadeja on Saturday following the confirmation of his trade to Rajasthan Royals.

Jadeja, who enjoyed a trophy-laden 12 years with CSK, returned to Rajasthan, with former RR skipper Sanju Samson moving in the other direction.

CSK shared an update on social media platform X, formerly Twitter with the caption that read, “200 Matches 2354 Runs 152 wickets 94 catches When history speaks of courage in Yellove, it will echo your name. Thank You, Ravindra Jadeja!"
