For the 14th and final time this season, it was Dogmanits to Dogmanits for a Whitehall High School touchdown.
Tanner Dogmanits, a junior, pinpointed a slant pass to his older brother Talon Dogmanits, a senior, on the first play of the fourth quarter for Whitehall’s lone touchdown in a 49-7 loss to Roman Catholic in the PIAA Class 5A first round Friday night at Zephyr Stadium.
“This game obviously didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to,” Talon said while fighting back tears. “I was thankful enough to come back here, and my last touchdown of the season was at home. That was special. It was from my brother. It couldn’t be more special, and I’m so proud of what we accomplished this year.”
