When a sweet Doberman puppy named Kami was adopted, she thought she had found her happily ever after.

Initially purchased from a breeder, Kami’s new owner appeared eager to provide her with a loving home. However, after just a few days, Kami’s dreams were shattered. Her owner made the decision to surrender her to the Doberman Rescue League, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Kami, who had briefly experienced the warmth and comfort of a home, arrived at the rescue confused and uncertain of her future.
