COLUMBUS, Ohio — Massillon dominated Columbus St. Francis DeSales in Friday’s Division II, Region 7 semifinals with a 48-14 victory.
The third-seeded Tigers (9-3) finished with six rushing touchdowns on their way to the regional finals against top-seeded Big Walnut (11-1). Their matchup will be next Friday at a site to be determined Sunday.
The second quarter is where the Tigers took control of the game as they exploded for 20 points to take a 27-0 lead. Anthony McMullen led the way with two rushing touchdowns.
McMullen finished a 92-yard drive with a 2-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter for a 13-0 lead.
