Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 2025. The Bengaluru-based franchise, under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, defeated Punjab Kings by six runs in the final played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3 to end their long wait. The reigning champions had a very balanced squad in IPL 2025, and they have retained the majority of the players that were part of their memorable campaign this year.
However, to make some new signings in the IPL 2026 auction next month, they have released a few players, which includes the likes of England all-rounder Liam Livingstone, three uncapped Indian players, Lungi Ngidi and Mayank Agarwal.
