SRINAGAR: Jammu Rural Police have achieved a breakthrough by recovering Rs 2,27,45,264 that had been fraudulently siphoned off by online scammers through manipulated trading activity. The case was initiated on April 10 when Khalid Hassan, son of Ghulam Hassan and a resident of Dalpatian Mohalla Jammu, lodged a complaint at Police Station Nagrota after discovering that more than two crore rupees invested by his brother had been drained by unknown cyber fraudsters.
