It may not be the Power Four, but with a 12-team playoff field, the Group of Five is having more and more games with massive ramifications around their bid.

This week, the USF Bulls (7-2, 4-1 American) go to Annapolis, Maryland, to take on the Navy Midshipmen (7-2, 5-1 American) from Navy-Marine Corps Stadium with a spot atop the American Conference on the line and a chance to have a fighting chance at the College Football Playoff.

If you are looking for some betting advice for the matchup, we've got you covered. Here are the latest odds for the game, courtesy of BetMGM.

USF vs. Navy prediction, pick:

Does Blake Horvath play? And will he be 100% for the Midshipmen? He sat out last week against Notre Dame, although it likely may not have made a difference against the Irish, who are steamrolling teams.

This game is massive for the American. While Navy has lost two straight, they are still tied at the top of the conference with one loss, joined by USF, Tulane, North Texas, and East Carolina. Whoever loses this takes a massive blow to their conference chances.

Navy's defense will have its hands full again, as it has all year. They now get a USF offense running the ball for 5.8 yards per carry. The Midshipmen do get 6.4 yards per carry themselves, though.

Both defenses have proven to be porous, but the fun in this game is watching these quarterbacks. They are incredibly talented. For USF, Byrum Brown has 2,203 passing yards, 705 rushing yards, and 28 total touchdowns. On the other side, Navy quarterback Blake Horvath is the offense, with 1,143 passing yards, 926 rushing yards, and 20 total touchdowns.

Expect points in this game as these teams will try to match each other. If Blake Horvath is healthy, he won't let Navy go down this year without a fight and finds a way to engineer more magic.

Prediction: Navy 38, USF 35
