LEBANON --Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger’s calling card all season has been a stifling defense, but they owe their 39-27 regional victory over a feisty Lebanon Tiger squad to the breakout performance of quarterback Henry Jordan and the atomic leg of kicker Lucas Nguyen.
The host Tigers gouged the Saints for more points than they had given up in any previous game. Dwenger came in yielding an average of less than a touchdown per contest. Lebanon scored four, three of them on passes from Chris Hill to Tannon Monden, as the Tigers refused to roll over on the dream of winning the school’s first regional title.
