JAMMU, Nov 15: On 10.11.2025 morning information was received from reliable sources that an incident occurred in which a person namely Puran Chand(Age about 55 years) S/o Dev Raj R/o H no.39 Ward no 2 Devi Dawara Mandir,R S Pura was found burning in open fields near Ring road Prithvipur in the Jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib. Immediately Police party led by SHO Miran Sahib rushed to the spot, control fire along with some civilians and shifted the injured person to GMC Jammu for treatment, where the injured succumbed later on to his injuries.

The deceased was a Govt. employee in Irrigation Department serving as helper in the Tube-Well Irrigation.

Police immediately take cognisance of the incident & FIR 109/2025 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Mir
