Rajasthan Royals’ never-ending search for a second IPL title, and the first since the inaugural edition in 2008, enters its 17th year. They have tried several things, a variety of legends, different home grounds, a big assortment of coaches and backroom staff, and even unique philosophies.

The closest they came was around the 2022-2024 phase, when they reached the final in one year and made it to the playoffs on the basis of an extremely strong first half of the season in another.
