STATEN ISLAND, NY — Sea View Playwright’s Theatre will open Edward Albee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Three Tall Women” today for a two-weekend run at its Staten Island location.
The production features Regina Paleau as “A”, Cheryl Grogan-Wagner as “B,” and Emma White as “C,” under the direction of Craig Stoebling. The show will run for five performances through Nov. 23.
Albee’s play tells the story of three women in two distinct parts. The first half presents a naturalistic conversation between a wealthy nonagenarian known as “A,” her middle-aged caretaker “B,” and a young lawyer “C.” In the second half, the three women transform into personifications of the same woman at different ages — 92, 52, and 26 — as they confront her life, memories and regrets.
