Goods vehicle driver kidnapped and thrashed for having casual conversation with owner’s wife

BAGALKOT: A goods vehile driver was kidnapped, tied up and thrashed along with his employer’s wife for reportedly having a friendly conversation with her. The incident occurred on October 3, but has come to light only now after a video started doing the rounds on social media

The driver, Prakash Hosamani (25), and the employer’s wife, Boravva, were kidnapped and taken to Tulasigeri Hill where they were assaulted by 10 people, including the employer Yankappa Churi. In the video, one Parasappa Madara can be seen hitting Prakash on the feet with a stick while another man kicks Boravva.

The police have registered an FIR against 10 people, including Yankappa Churi, Parasappa Madara, Tulasappa Churi, Kiran Valmiki and Sangamesh Goudaron October 31 at the Navanagar police station in Bagalkot.
