A 28-year-old software engineer, Vishal Goud, died by suicide at his house in Gandhinagar. Police said he had been under stress due to family disputes and a case filed by his wife a few months ago. Elders had tried to resolve the issues.

Hyderabad: A software engineer died by suicide at his house in Gandhinagar in the city on Friday night.

According to the police, Vishal Goud (28), a resident of Bansilalpet, worked in an IT company. He got married in 2023.

However, differences arose between the couple over some family issues. The elders tried to resolve the issues but their efforts did not succeed.

“A few months ago, Vishal’s wife filed a case against him and since then he slipped into depression. He ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his house,” said the police
