Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Thalapathy Vijay has raised serious concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Tamil Nadu , warning that as many as 6.38 crore people could face the risk of losing their voting rights if the process is not carried out transparently.
Meanwhile, the party is planning to hold a statewide protest on November 16 against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise being carried out across Tamil Nadu. The demonstration, however, is subject to approval from the state government.
