Dismissing three similar petitions of filing of a lecturer’s post at Himachal Pradesh Government Dental College, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has directed the state government to finalise the recruitment and promotion (R&P) rules for the said post within four weeks and thereafter begin the selection process strictly as per the applicable reservation roster.

The petitions were filed by Dr Rajesh Kumar, Dr Neha Sharma and Dr Sanjeev Chauhan on the long-pending filling of a lecturer’s post in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at the Himachal Pradesh Government Dental College, Shimla .
