Federal authorities have identified a suspect with ties to Mahwah in the Nov. 12 incident inside the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building that left property damaged in the office of Acting U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba. FBI officials say the man is Keith Michael Lisa and are asking for the public’s help to locate him.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said on social media after the incident that someone tried to confront Habba and “destroyed property in her office.”
According to FBI officials , Lisa initially entered the federal building with a bat before being turned away. Authorities say he then left the bat outside, returned to the building and went to the U.S. Attorney’s Office where he allegedly damaged government property.
