CLEMSON — A game at Louisville wasn’t going exactly how Clemson senior Adam Randall would have wanted. But that was the case for nearly everyone in L&N Stadium.

Both teams seemed determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on Nov. 14 as drives stalled via dropped passes, fumbles and penalties.

Randall, the Tigers’ running back, had 40 yards on six carries in the first half. But 25 of those came on a single rush. He was mostly finding himself stoned at or behind the line of scrimmage, and, in the third quarter, he rushed the ball only once for seven yards.

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik sensed Randall, his first college roommate, wasn’t very happy. So Klubnik found the 6-foot-2, 235-pound converted receiver on the sideline and asked him a question.
