A shocking incident of domestic violence surfaced in Mandi district today when a man allegedly threw acid on his wife inside their home in Sain Mohalla, Mandi Town.

The case was reported to the Sadar police station, prompting immediate action by local authorities.

According to initial investigations, the accused, Nand Lal, who runs a tea shop near Zonal Hospital, Mandi, had been involved in prolonged domestic disputes with his wife.

This evening, he reportedly returned home, entered his wife’s room, and, during an argument, threw acid on her. The victim was promptly taken to Zonal Hospital, Mandi, where she received urgent medical care.
