Celtic Park is to host a charity Sleep Out event tonight to raise funds for the Celtic FC Foundation's Christmas Appeal.

From 10pm tonight (November 15) until 6am tomorrow, those taking part in the charity event will sleep outside, each having raised a minimum of £135 in support of the Celtic FC Foundation's Christmas Appeal.

This will mark the tenth Sleep Out event at Celtic Park, where brave do-gooders will be at the mercy of the elements overnight to raise funds for vulnerable people and families in the community this festive season.

Last year's event saw 120 individuals brave the November Scottish weather for one night, raising more than £50,000 for the appeal, which sees those in poverty fed hot meals on Christmas Day inside the stadium.
