River rafting destination inaugurated at Namprikdang

MANGAN, (IPR): In a major development for Dzongu and North Sikkim, a river rafting destination was inaugurated today by minister cum Area MLA Pintso Namgyal Lepcha at Namprikdang.

The new destination for thrill, nature and outdoor experiences is an initiative of Rongyong Adventure Dzongu (RAD), a group of enthusiastic local youth.

The river rafting adventure destination was formally inaugurated today by the minister cum Area MLA by taking the first ride. He was joined by Tourism & Civil Aviation chairman Sonam Norgay Lachungpa, Adhyaksha Mangan Kado Lepcha, Upadhyaksha Sonam Kipa Bhutia, Horticulture chairperson Ongkit Lepcha, and host of other dignitaries.
