Cash, drugs and weapons were discovered by police after a police chase through Stockport.

Officers from a Greater Manchester Police (GMP) unit dedicated to tackling knife crime were out on patrol last night (Friday, November 14) when they spotted a 'suspicious' vehicle.

It was pursued from Brinnington through the town centre before eventually being stopped on George Street West, Offerton .

The occupants were searched with a number of houses also then searched.

Officers discovered £10,000 in cash, as well as a large amount of suspected heroin, other drug paraphernalia as well as several razor blades and 'sharp tools.'
