A survivor of the Chernobyl nuclear explosion who lost her husband in the disaster has now been killed in a brutal Russian missile attack on an apartment block.

The widow of the first man killed in the atomic apocalypse in 1986 died today after Vladimir Putin ’s latest savage attack on civilians. Natalia Khodemchuk, 62, had been rushed to hospital after the strike on her apartment block on Friday when she suffered severe burns affecting 45% of her body and did not survive.
