The young son of McFly's Tom Fletcher had viewers reaching for the tissues on Friday evening. Like father, like son – and the duet between pop star Tom and his 11 year old son Buzz proved that saying to be spot on.

The performance stunned fans and tugged at heartstrings, as Buzz demonstrated remarkable vocal talent whilst standing alongside his father before a live Children in Need audience.

The moving performance, accompanied by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, formed part of an evening that saw the charity raise an impressive £45million, leaving viewers visibly emotional.

Tom, the pop group's frontman, penned the song specifically for Pudsey and the Thread Of Hope, a CBeebies animation due next month.
