EAST LANSING — Jonathan Smith’s quarterback decision for Michigan State football ’s game with Penn State proved an easy one.
Aidan Chiles is out, meaning redshirt freshman Alessio Milivojevic will get his second straight start as the Spartans host the Nittany Lions on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Chiles, who was benched for the first time in his two seasons at MSU before a 23-20 overtime loss at Minnesota on Nov. 1, was in a sweatsuit pregame and wearing a walking boot on his left foot. The junior took just one snap at the end of the first half in the loss to the Gophers.
