FRANKFORT, Ky. (WSAZ) - The Republican Party of Kentucky (RPK) has opened a new headquarters expansion in Frankfort, Kentucky.

The RPK has been in the Mitch McConnell Building for decades, which is just a few steps from the State Capitol.

In a statement from the RPK, they say this project was more than just construction but shows the growth of the Republican Party’s strength across the state.

The expansion has a multimedia room, boardroom and an event space.

It will also be the hub for Republicans across Kentucky.

U.S. Senator McConnell helped raise funds to support the expansion.
