Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix revealed their world had recently been ripped apart by the death of their beloved mum.

The drag queen, aka Christopher Dennis, shared he had lost his mum, Lynne, just months before starting the BBC dancing competition on Saturday night's live show.

Speaking in a VT ahead of his couple's choice performance with dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec, Christopher revealed: "My mum was the same as my dad, equally supportive, she was there at every single show.

"I lost her in April this year so its only what 7/8 months.
