OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - UPDATE: KBI confirms three Osage County deputies and a KHP trooper were shot in Osage County.
The three Osage County deputies were taken to Stormont Vail. The trooper was taken originally to Stormont but was taken to KU Med for further treatment.
KBI confirms one male civilian, the suspect, was shot and killed. A second male civilian was wounded. Authorities say is condition is stabilized.
The Kansas Highway Patrol confirms that an incident this morning in Osage County involved both the Kansas Highway Patrol and the Osage County Sheriff’s Office.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation told 13 NEWS an exchange of gunfire occurred around 10:30 a.m. Saturday at a residence north of 113th and S. Topeka Blvd. The location is north of Carbondale in Osage Co.
