LEXINGTON — Most weeks, facing an FCS foe without multiple starting defenders wouldn't be much cause for concern for an SEC team.

But this wasn't a run-of-the-mill FCS team Kentucky football hosted Saturday. It was Tennessee Tech , a program that entered having won 15 straight games and averaging more than 45 points per outing in a 10-0 start this season.

The Wildcats ' defense showed any worries about how it would fare without starters Sam Greene and Jordan Lovett were overblown.
