The Buffalo Bills are set to welcome back a familiar face. Wide receiver Gabe Davis has been elevated from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, marking a key step in his return to the field.

Davis, who spent the 2024 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, suffered a season ending knee injury in November last year. The Jaguars ended up releasing Davis this past May.

Davis was signed to the Bills’ practice squad in September, where he has been rehabbing and ramping up his workload while preparing to make a comeback. When asked about his return, Davis said he is “ready to go.” This will be the first of Davis’ three eligible practice squad elevations.
