COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper was relieved of his game day assignment following an incident at a Texas A&M football game.
Texas A&M police said they are aware of the incident in the northeast tunnel involving the DPS trooper.
Video shows the trooper and two South Carolina football players bumping into one another. The trooper then turned towards the players and pointed a finger at one and appeared to be upset.
The trooper has been relieved of his game day assignment, according to the university police statement.
DPS said the trooper involved was sent home from the game. The department’s Office of Inspector General is aware of the incident and will investigate the matter further.
